Founded in 1959, The Southwestern Manitoba Regional Library provides public library services to the Town of Melita, and Municipality of Two Borders and the Municipality of Brenda Waskada. The library is financially supported by each of these communities and by operating grants from the provincial government of Manitoba.
Library Services are provided in three locations: Melita, Pierson and Napinka, Manitoba.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Southwestern Manitoba Regional Library is “to provide access to materials, resources, programming, and technology that meet the educational, recreational and informational needs of the residents in our communities. Our overall goal is to achieve a high level of patron satisfaction.”
